They came with scratches in the inside where the cam contacts, and some dents in the edges where they cut them. I had to sand the corners and use scotch brite to blend the inside scratches. That seem to fix the issue. They are wide enough to provide better surface contact with the cam. They also fitted on my 2004 silverado 5.3 lm7 engine. I will write a update after running the engine for a while.
