I got this and immediately had to give it a try. I used it to remove a lacquer finish from a cherry cabinet door insert and then proceeded to remove more lacquer finish from a glued up oak panel. I am favorably impressed with how it performed at the end of the sanding compared to how it performed at the start. It appears to not clog up and I think I may be changing sand paper less often. I'll use for awhile and update this review. Just to add a little credance to observations, in my former life before retirement I was a production supervisor for a large national cabinet manufacturer. I supervised before finish and after finish operations, so no stranger to finish prep and also finish repair. This paper shows real promise.

Ive tried many different sanding discs for my sander and these are the best I've found. Good adhesion and they last much longer than other brands

I have tried various 80 grit Aluminum Oxide disks with relative success, but this is something else...It generally takes 3 disks for me to finish one of my projects. Each disk is quickly clogged or abrasives are stripped from the disk in various locations forcing me to replace the disk for professional results.The challenge for me is that I need to take the tray off, remove the dust collection guard (3 screws) and pull the highly sticky pad off... I also have to use Goo-gone to clean the metal backing so that I can apply a new pad and reassemble the sander again... After all this I will need to level the tray for accuracy.I switched to these sanding pads during my last project, I used only 1 disk, and after the project was over, the pad still has life... It is relatively unclogged and can be used again without much loss in integrity...This product has saved me much time and frustration, and is now my go-to product for 80 grit sanding disks. I am also considering purchasing finer grits of this same Zirconia Alumina material from the same manufacturer.I have used these disks for wood, 360 brass, resin, and hardened steel and it has stayed sharp throughout! I recommend this product with confidence to all others requiring a solid abrasion pad for these material
