I use these on a belt /disc sander combo. They hold up pretty well and remove material quickly. I use them mostly for sharpening tungsten for tig welding (the tungsten does wear them pretty fast but tungsten is very hard. If the tungsten needs lots of work i use a hard wheel to get close then this to smooth it. they work fine for steel, wood and aluminum too. Only problem is that they stick so well that they're difficult to remove even after a short time of being installed.

What can you say about sandpaper? It sticks to the wheel and reduces the wood, but it does make your finished piece get rave reviews. How does he/she do that? It's good sandpaper, comes in a lot of grits to pare down any rough wood, and it is cost-efficient. Good product.

Haven't gotten a chance to really use them as much as I need to. That will change soon but so far these seem to be fine. They adhere well to the sander.
