Working on covering window frames with tin coil. These snips are holding up better then the straight snips I bought. Meaning the grips aren't slipping. Would recommend for the diyer.

Of course there not swiss or anything but for the 25$ I can't complain at all. I'm a HVAC install tech and use them every day so I'll make a update 6 months from now and see how they hold up! Great quality though and extremely sharp

Bought these for my son who started in the sheet metal trade doing duct work. They lasted about 6weeks. Had to buy a better brand. They may be good for a homeowner but Def not professionals tools.

I have had a pair of straight cutting tin snips in my home hobby shop for years and use them from time to time on small projects. The problem with straight cutting snips is that they aren't all that easy to use if you are cutting curves in material. These snips solved that problem!These are designed to make either right handed or left handed curving cuts in light sheet metal or plastics. One side of the material will curl up and out of the way so you can pivot the cutters to make curving cuts. This makes it much easier (and safer) to cut more intricate patterns.I've only had these for a few months and so far they are holding up to the types of cutting demands I have in my shop (i.e. light stainless and aluminum sheet metal and plastic sheeting. It's a real joy to use a proper tool when cutting curved patterns and not having to fight the tool to get a good cut. These are well constructed and the edges were nice and sharp out of the box. So far I'm extremely pleased with their performance and wish I had picked up a pair years ago.
