I like the case and the solid feel of the tools. However, the cutting wheel is a small diameter and does a poor job cutting 3/4" copper tube. The mini cutter is even worse, it's nearly useless on 3/4" tube and I struggled to make it work. The deburring tool is the only item in the kit that worked well and that's made of plastic.

Disappointed, I’ve put so much faith in this brand and never had issues with other products im surprised this was so poorly made and cutters come apart and won’t lock when opened. 👎ðŸ»

As a seasoned plumber was disappointed to find that the blade was very dull and the clamp would slip a good amount.

What a surprise. I was expecting a plastic tool based on the ad photos. The box was far too heavy for the tool to be plastic. It is a sturdy metal heavy duty cutter. The description said it came with an extra cutting wheel but I couldn't find it. I went back to the ad and saw that it was hiding in the tool's handle.I've used several pipe cutters of this type and was unhappy with all of them. This one will be my favorite tool from now on. Pipe can be cut using a variety of methods but if you need a flat cut on the end of the pipe, this is the best type of tool for the job. Dressing the cut end is also important and the tools for that task are included in the package. The tool is suggested for lighter metals like aluminum and copper; steel isn't mentioned. It has a smaller cutting wheel which might be the reason. I think there are enough uses for this tool to make it worthwhile. I have plenty of uses for this tool and will give it a good workout.

I thought I owned a quality tubing cutter so I jumped right into running a 1" copper supply line for a new underground sprinkling system. But, my cutter wasn't up to the task: the wheel was worn out and the arbor was wobbly, resulting in a "screw" rather than a cut.The Duratech cut straight the first time with no problem. It also has a couple options for de-burring the cut. There's the onboard knife that did a fine job, plus the kit includes a dedicated deburring tool for inside and outside the pipe. The roller is grooved to accommodate copper flare ends and the included mini tool is great for tight spots. The extra cutting wheel is conveniently stored inside the end of the handle.Very well built, heavy-duty, professional tool.

This set is just what I need as a novice DIY plumber looking to fix up some issues with our copper piping at home. It's got a small cutter which looks good for our 5/16 copper pipes, a large cutter which I need for the 1 inch copper pipes, and the deburring tool, both an innie and an outie. PVC/PEX seems to be more popular these days, but we have copper and don't intend to change.I'll also need to get a press tool and some of the clamps for it; that's the other half of the job.I don't see the spare blade, which is the reason I did not give 5 stars. The compartment for it in the case appears to be empty. But I am still glad to have the set, and it should easily last through all the work I expect to need from it.
