It definitely doesn't feel as solid as some of the more expensive tools but definitely gets the job done without breaking

This tool was exactly what I needed to remove a 1.5 inch "lift and turn" drain flange assembly with only little nubs surviving where the drain cap mount broke off. The holes in the side allow the use of a thick screwdriver to give leverage turning a rusted on flange. You can also use a half inch breaker bar at either end if you don't have room to slide a screwdriver into the holes in the sides.

I busted on an old Kohler drain. It fit in the drain but just barely hence why I took off a star.

This tool performed well and did the job it was designed for. I would recommend the tool. The shipping was fast, and the tool was as described.

The small end fit right into the drain. For leverage, I used a mortar mixing tool, it fits holes and the slots in the not used end of the Tub Drain Remover Wrench. Made of 3/8 steel, the mixer rod did not bend.Amazon: Paint & Mortar Mixer Tool, 16in length, $11One factor that may have helped, the evening before removal, I heated the chrome drain area and applied penetrating oil. Once removed, I note the 42 y old plumber's putty was discolored and soft to the finger nail.

Just the tool, to make work easier. Replace 3 drains and you'll never know when you need it again. Thanks

Made short work in removing a tub drain. Was a help in installing the new drain.
