Big and powerful. Comes with a battery, propane line and even a complete tool kit. Simple to assemble wheels. Extremely complete and clear instructions. Comes with all require electric plug ends (not electrical cables.) Even an oil fill funnel (through no oil and must use regular oil for 8 hr. break in.) Heavy but easy to move.

Purchased 2 of these units one week apart in March 2022 to power our new 5th wheel RV. These units are super powerful and easily ran our RV with 3 AC units during the brutal Phoenix summer months. They were really easy to set up and we have used both gas and propane to power (husband is a contractor but didn't really need special skills to set up.) We rotated these 2 with our existing Westinghouse Wgen 7500 generator to provide 24/7 power during triple digit heat as we are boondocking on raw land with no utilities.Unfortunately, from day 1 the first Duromax unit used excessive oil. In August the first unit died and could not be repaired. We submitted a warranty claim online. During the delay between claim submission and receipt of the new unit, we spent over a thousand dollars renting a Honda generator (super loud and gas guzzler). The week after the new unit was delivered the 2nd unit died. After submitting a 2nd warranty claim, I went onto the Duromax website and submitted a 1 star review detailing all of our issues since purchase.Within 15 minutes I received a phone call from Brandon in Customer Service at Duromax. He apologized for the delay in replacing the first unit and the overall issues we experienced, expedited the replacement of our 2nd unit AND sent us a reimbursement check for the full amount we paid to rent a generator. He also provided his email and direct phone number in the event that we had any further issues.Since then, they have shipped us new carbon brushes, AVRs, an electric starter and other pieces needing to be replaced for regular maintenance. For the number of hours they are used, it is to be expected that parts will wear out. They cost us nothing as all were under warranty. We know that we use our units alot more than most. If you just need an emergency backup unit for a couple of days here and there, you will love these generators!Customer Service has made us big fans. These generators are super powerful and half the price of the "comparable" competitors (we did alot of research). The replacement units have not had the same oil issue, so we may have just gotten a bad unit.No equipment is perfect. We really appreciate that once they were aware of the problems they stepped up to make us whole and ensure that we were happy. Thanks Duromax!FYI, we tried a Predator generator from Harbor Freight. It lasted 1 week and we returned it.

This was the second attempt at purchasing this generator. I originally ordered it back in the summer time after we lost power with heavy storms. Unfortunately the wrong unit was delivered. I was home at the time and sent the unit back with the driver. I called Amazon and they refunded me my money and then it didn’t seem like a priority until we had a snow storm two weeks ago. (But thankfully didn’t loose power) We decided to try again. This time the correct unit was delivery in about 2 days. And I’m so grateful we did THIS SAVED OUR CHRISTMAS! We had a storm that knocked out our power 5am Christmas morning and would of been without power for about 13-14 hours. This unit (13000EH) was powerful enough to run our entire home included heat. (I will have to wait until the summer to see if it can run our Central AC, but from my research I believe it will)That being said, here is my review and what to expect.Unboxing the unit was pretty easy. I did it by myself. Cut the box open and then flip the generator upside down. It will allow you to easily remove the orange shipping brace and attached the wheels/legs.The instructions said brace(s) and claimed there was a block of wood. I spent about 10 minutes looking for it and realized that there wasn’t any other brace. Only the one brace.Flip it back over and attached the handle bars. Connect the battery. I had to take off the face plate (4 bolts) to get my hand in there to access the battery terminal. The battery was NOT dead. You will need to purchase engine oil (40 oz of SAE10w-30) I purchased at Lowe’s for like 6 bucksI hooked up a bottle of propane and was able to fire it right up on the first try.Important to know. A standard bbq tank of propane (20lb) will only last about 3-4 hours before it runs out or freezes up. The company does say the preferred propane tank size, is a 40 lb tank. (I didn’t have chance to purchase one yet)FYI, if you go for a bigger tank then 40lb you will need some other hardware because the valve on a 100lb tank isn’t the same as a 20/40 lb tankAlso important to know. You will have to purchase a Power cord. It only comes with the Male/female adaptor piece. No cordSo far, I have not notice any issue with the tires. They did not go flat from the weight of the machine. (I only ran it on propane so far so I don’t know if the added weight of a full tank of gasoline would Cause a problem)The handles are long and provide good leverage. So, Moving the unit around wasn’t a problem for meThe generator is loud when you are standing right next to the exhaust side, but it is much quieter then I expected.I had it 20’ off from the house and with the doors/windows shut it wasn’t really that noticeable.Overall I’m am very happy with the purchase, the quality of this generator seems impressive. Duel fuel is convenient. This unit has a lot of power for the money.
