I love the idea of this hose reel. Overall it is well built but it has a leak coming from where the hose connects not sure which side but it does cause some suction loss. Other than that. It works great and looks great! Beats the price of a vacuum coxreel which was my other option.

There is some decent suction loss but not enough to make the job harder, you can hear a leak from where the hose goes into the reel, I feel like it could be sealed a little better, but I would absolutely buy it again if I needed to

I've ordered from Rockler before and everything they sent me was is in perfect condition until now.This took a very long time to ship and deliver.Box was delivered and it looked like it was 10 years old- tape was coming off, box looked beat up. Opened it and this looked like it had been used and returned.Very disappointed and I'm returning it.HOWEVER, now I have to drive all the way across town, spend my money on gas to return something that should never have been sent out in the first place.Also, looked this up on the Rockler site and it is listed for $30 cheaper, but that could just be a sale.As for the actual build, it looked sturdy and the pieces looked well made, but again spending this much you would expect something in perfect condition and not scratched up.Anyway your experience may be different and like I said before, everything I typically get from Rockler has been in perfect condition until now.

If you’re looking for a budget option for holding a vacuum hose, this will meet expectations, it exceeded mine. Holds 50’ of cen-tec system hose.
