Because the old outlet is located next to the refrigerator, I occasionally come into contact with refrigerator power cord. To address this issue, I recently installed the YasAo DVFR1W-1 recessed electrical box behind my refrigerator, and it works exceptionally well. This embedded box allows me to conceal cables and plugs behind the wall, creating a clean appearance without any bulky wires protruding. Previously, I purchased one to install behind a home theater setup,it is ideal for mounting televisions, appliances, monitors, or other wall-mounted devices, so I bought another one, as it helps keep everything tidy and organized.The installation process is straightforward and easy to follow. The box is spacious enough to accommodate 15/20 amp GFCI and GFI power outlets, as well as HDMI and Ethernet sockets. It is securely mounted on the drywall. After installing the duplex receptacle , there is still ample space available. I was able to install a large plug without any issues. This works perfectly with a minimum 3 1/2" depth standard 2 x 4 interior wall construction. It naturally offsets a 1/2" for the drywall flush installation, then the cover plate snaps over the housing and drywall. Obviously, the depth may be easily adjusted for thicker walls or drywall.

I got this recessed outlet to run power behind my TV so the power cord wouldn't hand down the wall. It works fine and has a very low profile behind my TV wall mount. I like how deep the outlets sit so the power cord doesn't stick out from the wall at all. It also mounts very securely the wall. I also like that they provide both "decorator" wall plate and the standard oval duplex wall plate.Installation isn't the easiest, however. The instructions are very "mid". The first difficulty is that the pictures are very small and low resolution. I couldn't tell the correct orientation for the "wings" that one uses to hold the back of the wall box inside the wall. I finally figured it out through trial and error. The second item is that the normal 6-32 sized screws that are used by all US outlets to hold the outlet in the wall box were too small for the holes that are molded into the wall box. I had to get some size 7 screws to make the outlet hold securely inside the wall box. After those difficulties, the rest was pretty easy.It gets the job done.

The mounting holes for the socket where not the standard US mounting holes.I ended up using #7 wood screw to mount it

This is a fantastic way to install a mirror with the embedded LED light. The electrical plug keeps making the mirror no lay flat and this recessed gave me the perfect method to install a GFI outlet for the mirror and now it looks professionally installed!
