***DVI OUT/SOURCE TO VGA MONITOR ONLY***I learned the hard way monitor connectors are only unidirectional and some sellers hide that fact. BewareSecond monitor for old Dell monitor to a new 2024 tower. Dell monitor had VGA or dport inputs. My only other tower outputs we're hdmi or dvi. If you look for proper connections a hdmi out to dport in are unidirectional and expensive. Ive never used dvi out but i decided to try this.Everything works great, easy to install, connectivity is as it states, it fits both DVI setups, and most importantly it is inexpensive. Highly recommend it if you're stuck with minimal options with the older monitors

I bought two of these cables, one for me and one for my sister, and in short only one work. I'm too lazy to return it for a refund so I'm just going to keep it. Quality wise, for the one that works it works great, just hope that you get a functional one when you order from here.
