Great product and positive addition to my Dewalt DW735 planer. The materials are very high quality and quite heavy. Installation is straight forward. Adjustments to level the feed tables with the planer are easy to make. The cost is a bit high and it's a mystery why this isn't included with the planer but it's worth the price. After leveling these with the planer I immediately saw a vast improvement in the amount of snipe on both ends of the board. Adding a small amount of paste wax to the entire surface, indeed to outfeed, improved this even more. If you stow your table, you will have to remove the infeed side as it does not fold up like the outfeed side. Really thankful I purchased this product.

Had originally bought an aftermarket table set but it came with no instructions and didn't appear to be able to fit easily without some brute forcing. Returned with no hassles and ordered this DW set and not only did it have instructions, but everything fit like a glove and although it was easy to install, it even had easy to follow instructions. Didn't have to make any adjustments which is pretty good considering my Dewalt planer is over 20 years old.

Other than this SHOULD come standard (with a helical cutter head) it is a must buy. Even if you use a sheet of melamine to increase your surface and prevent snipe this is super useful. For me, that it folds up and allows me to wheel my planer into a corner is very useful. Does take a little effort to get flat (it has several leveling knobs (just lay a straight edge across the planer bed, and it's straightforward to level the extensions).

One of the two tables was bent, which looks like it must have been dropped at some point. The package was in perfect condition, so it looks like a manufacturing issue rather than a shipping issue. The hardware was completely rusted and was missing any nuts to install the spring and step-bolt with.I was able to get everything installed after a healthy dose of WD40 rust penetrant to remove the rust from the hardware, and by supplying my own nuts and washers. I didnt have time to wait for a replacement order as I had a project that needed to be completed ASAP. Its functional, but after the missing parts and poor quality control I'd highly recommend spending the extra for the original Dewalt tables instead, or at least buying some better aftermarket ones.

A good addition to the dewalt thicknesser.Wonks well. Only comment is there was a spring missing from the kit so we had to improvise.
