We replace our patio furniture this year and all the metal work on the chairs and table are black so I need to replace the old trash can with something in black. This is the one. Well built, easy to assemble and looks great. I like the "double lid" which holds the trash bag in place. Recommended and I don't recommend many items.

Love it to sit on my porch and store dog food. I was worried other animals would get inside but they haven’t! Very well made and food stays dry!

The area that the lid rests on collects water when it rains and when the water freezes (when the temperature drops), the lid won't sit down flush because there is no where for the rain water to drain when it rains. AND water also collects at the opposite end of the opening and you also can't open it and it leaves the lid propped open almost an 1/2 inch because of the rain that has frozen. For this reason only I am giving it 3 stars. This would be good in an area that has a covering or no freezing temperatures. I like the look and it was pretty easy to assembly, but the lid area needs to be redesigned to where the water will drain from it and not sit underneath the edge of the lid when it rains.

This is an awful design. The outside is appealing,yes! But it's purpose was supposed to be a "trash can!" Meaning you would place a trash bag i side, fill with garbage, then remove. ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE! There is a small entrance, larger body to fill, and a ton of sharp edges inside that open space inside the receptacle. When you go to remove the filled bag, it's stuck. Its litterally like birthing a baby! Annnnd to add insult to injury, the inside, where all those raw edges are, are like a cheese grater to your trash bag. If and when you finally win the battle of removing the minimally filled bag, IT WILL BE SHREDDED along all sides. You are literally trying to remove a "round" bag of trash from a "smaller" "square" "sharp" opening. We finally took an extra large piece of cardboard, made a cylinder, taped it together, then placed it inside the trashcan, to try and help prevent the bag from taking the shape of the can and being shredded from the exposed sharp edges inside the can while battling through the removal process. It helps but it's still a nightmare.

Keep your order number in case you need help. A rubber mallet is necessary. Directions make assembling harder than it needs to be! How to place a lg bag inside? I would never buy this again! The directions just say “clickâ€. No help with that. Keep your invoice # . You need it for help from the man Mexico.

Nice weight. Snaps together best with 1 piece laying flat and pushing corresponding piece into it. Top hinges so you can lift it and secure bag before closing top. Hinges a bit tricky getting both sides attached but really happy with purchase and I recommend
