Easy to use. Stable. Heat comes out in one direction , which means heater can be placed against the wall or in middle of room. On low, heater burns up to 16+hours. Pending on the size of the room, it can completely warm the room or knock the chill out of the room. Don't have to worry about it tipping or falling.

Great product to use. If you are smart, you'll get one of these as a short-term backup for heating your house. If your heat and power go out, this is a great backup against freezing.

I've owned a few kerosene heaters, all of them the big "tower" convection models with output over 20,000 BTU. But you don't always want or need a heater with so much output. This model cuts the output to 10k BTU and as a result sips fuel and doesn't look out of place inside the home. It's designed to direct radiant heat in one direction, which is nice when you're sitting at a workbench. I use mine in a 25'x20' garage and it keeps things cozy. The housing stays cool. The removable fuel tank is a nice feature. Like other kerosene heaters I've owned, the tip-over feature works almost too well. The wick adjuster knob also is extra-sensitive and sometimes has to be fussed with. All par for the course in my experience.Kerosene heaters are smelly. That's all there is to it. When igniting or being shut down, they put out a LOT of fumes. That's why I put mine in a place where I can open a couple of windows and let the fumes go out with the cross-draft. This unit is a good choice when you don't need max output and you want to direct the radiant heat.

It says it runs 11-12hrs which i have found to be true. It keeps or 35ft rv so dang hot I want to turn it off but with it 26°F out I had to leave it so the kids wouldn't get cold. It's easy to fill the K1 fuel and super easy to light and kill. It is definitely worth the money. It's is prefect for small spaces as I said we live in an rv, it looks like a mini fire heater really cute for all style homes. As doesn't put off a harsh smell like other K1 fuel heaters I have used. There is no noise with this heater.

I liked the fact that this heater had a removable fuel tank. That's a convenient feature. That was about all I liked about it. The biggest problem is that it was impossible to adjust the flame pattern as described in the owner's manual. The burner assembly on this heater is not fixed in place by anything. It just kind of sits there with the back edge the burner cylinder sitting on a flat surface and the front edge sitting on the wick adjuster plate. Nothing really controls where the burner sits fore and aft. So it's just kind of balanced, or wobbling around on two small contact points. The problem with this is that the flame pattern is completely dependent upon burner position. Despite many attempts to get a nice clean flame pattern, by adjusting the knob and moving the burner around, I was unable to do so. (And yes, I was using fresh, clean 1-K kerosene.) If the flame pattern isn't perfect the heater smokes and emits a really bad smell. The best flame pattern I was able to get with this heater was a 1 inch tall yellow flame coming out the top of the burner at the front, and no flame at all showing at the back (see photo). And I was never able to make it stop emitting a smoky smell. The other problem I had with this heater is that the adjusting knob seems like a real kludge. It just does not work well at all. As stated in the manual, the adjusting knob is not to be used for controlling heat output. The heater is either on or off. There is no temperature adjustment. And that's OK. That's how kerosene heaters work. The knob only raises and lowers the wick a small amount to control how the flame is burning. While trying to adjust the knob to get a good flame pattern, the knob repeatedly snapped to the low or off position as if the safety shut-off had been tripped. And when this happens, the heater emits smoke and an odor. After fighting with this thing for over an hour on two different days, I finally gave up on it and decided to just send it back. I have a 20+ year old kerosene heater that is the same style heater as this one, and it works perfectly. The flame is nice and clean, it does not smell bad, the burner does not wobble around, and it works fine. I was expecting the same from this new heater, but was sadly disappointed. I returned this heater using Amazon's on-line help system. To replace it, I bought a DuraHeat DH2304S 23000 BTU kerosene heater at a local big-box store. The DuraHeat heater works perfectly. The flame is very easy to adjust, the control knob works like it should, and best of all, the heater does not smoke or smell.

You can’t beat these heaters, except Kerosene is outrageous🥲…. Paying6.00 a gallon🥲🥲🥲. Besides that everyone should have one for back up or just extra heat. I hate cold!! 😊

This heater doesn't use a lot of kerosene and produces a lot of heat.

Like the title says, it provides great heat, but the igniter stopped working the first week I received/using it, so I’ve been lighting the wick manually ever sense, I was lazy and didn’t contact the manufacturer so not sure they will send a replacement igniter yet.

When it operates, it throws off a decent amount of heat but getting it started with the battery operated ignition system is a waste of time. It worked the first few times but after that we need matches. The other issue is the wick control knob is so hair trigger that when the dog walks past the stove (even from across the room), the auto shut down sets off. Not worth the money.
