Love how easy they were to put together and put into place

These red and white striped lights are easy to assemble and look festive and fun along a walkway. They need solar power, so it depends on how sunny the day is and the lights’ exposure to the sun as to how bright the lights look at night. Even along the same path, some lights just don’t shine. The price is reasonable to try these out. Just don’t have high expectations, but they look nice! It will be interesting to see how long they hold up. Merry Christmas!

These lights kept the deer away from out garden until they figured it out. Now er have them on the perimeter of our deck and they look great. After like 6 months, they still work.

They were easy to set up and put into the ground. However, they don't stay lit for very long. I only get 3 hours, on average, of light out of them.

When I turned one on, it stayed on all the time. These are not on at dusk off at dawn as stated they were on the box. I returned them.

These are a little different from other solar lamps I have used. They are small and sit about 6 inches above the ground, when staked in place. There is no ON/OFF switch inside, but there is a plastic strip that has to be pulled out for them to work. It's there so the battery isn't discharging during shipping. There is a switch, but it's used to set it to ON or flickering ON. It doesn't flicker, but the 3 lights turn on in sequence. Through the opaque white windows, however, It does look like a flame flickering. The top twists off, which is new for me: With the solar panel in the palm of your hand, turn the windowed part to the left (counterclockwise) about an inch or so, and the pegs holding it closed will line up with those odd angled holes. Then just lift the windowed part up. It's that simple. It's easy to assemble and use, and the flickering option will be great for Hallowe'en.

I would use these for a Halloween party for kids, but NOT for dressing upthe outdoors for a nice, adult party. These look very cheap, and next time I willspend the extra money and get some nice ones. Other than that, the color is a nice purple, and only one didn't work.
