I love word dies that come with an attached die that cuts the border. These separated easily, cut well, and released easily. I think I'll use these quite often in the cards I make for my friends and church.

I liked the sentiment, but no matter what I tried I can not get the lettering out of the die. without tearing it to pieces and rendering it USELESS. what a waste of waiting and effort, unless you like frustration. The outside and inside cuts ok, but it remains inside the die.//UPDATE I'm stubborn. I started out with cardstock which is 110? lbs don't go any lower, if you can though use a thicker paper. Also, separate the words from the outside, I have low vision so I missed this the first time. you'll be worried about warping the die, but it's surprisingly strong enough to twist the words away from the outer die. then you have a good clean "cloud or pillow" to set the words on. The words area a bit trickier, use a light hand in separating the lettering from the die, but it won't work on reg cardstock. you need a thicker /heavier weight of paper, I tried the Navy cardstock which is a slight bit heavier, ( purchased on amazon) and it came out clean with not too much trouble, but it won't snap off by dropping the die onto a table, you have to use those holes. I haven't tried it on metallic paper, but it's about the same weight as the Navy, if not a little heavier and I didn't have trouble with Joy to the World, with the gold so I'm pretty sure that this will work well too. I don't have hopes for stacking /gluing three on top of each other, they're far to spindly to maneuver like that for me. Good luck, try again. Still messing with embossing, but that will take further time.// I should get more patience. I did get the lettering removed from the outline, took some delicate maneuvering but it didn't warp. So it's not useless, it's pretty but you do have to have some patience in working with die cuts that are sentiment/lettering.

Only the outside border cuts through. The inside text won't cut through cardstock, scrapbook paper or even copy paper, I've tried everything.
