Your cart is empty.The relatively small and lightweight DZOFilm VESPID 50mm T2.1 lens is part of the VESPID lens series from DZOFilm and is ideal for independent and high-end full-frame cinematography. The lens has a front diameter of 80mm, which makes it suitable for use with virtually any Cine-Style Matte Box. The small size makes this lens an attractive option for working with drones and gimbals as well as shooting from hand or with a running camera. The interchangeable PL connector and included EF connector allow the use of the fully manual lens on a wide range of modern and old film cameras, while the full-frame cover supports sensors with an image circle of up to 46.5 mm, allowing for use on cameras with sensors up to full frame without vignetting. The 16-aperture fin aperture used on all VESPID prime lenses creates out-of-focus highlights that contribute to the natural-looking bokeh of the lens. The focusing ring rotates 270° and the aperture ring can be rotated 58° for precise focusing. The tooth rings on the focus and aperture ring make the lens compatible with Cine accessories such as follow focus units, lens motors and lens control systems.

The Vespid Prime 50mm T2.1 Cinema Lens is outstanding. This has taken over my main niftyfifty spot because the style of image you get is just killer. The image quality is stunning with sharp details and beautiful bokeh while still maintaining a more artistic feel. The build is solid, and the PL & EF mount compatibility offers great flexibility.
