On my 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan I was getting engine code P0420 (lose fuel cap or a bad seal on the fuel cap or filling gas with the engine running) I replaced the gas cap with this one and the code went away. Easy fix

This gas cap saved the day when I accidentally left mine on the side of my car and it ended up being ran over! It was delivered next day. The fact that they have an E-85 option is so helpful too!

I have a 2014 Dodge Caravan. One day while driving the check engine light came on. I took it to an auto parts store and they ran the code and it came back a generic fuel system leak code. They started rambling off parts I would need and everything was pricey. So being the cheapo I am, I decided to try a new gas cap after reading that sometimes an improper sealing cap can cause a check engine light to come on because of vapor leaks. This cap was exactly like the factory cap I had on my van. Simple install. Locked tight (clicked unlike my old one). After a couple trips driving with this new cap on my check engine light went off and stayed off and the van drives way better. So glad I tried this cheap fix before buying all the parts they suggested at AutoZone.

Well, we've had it on for about a month and the seal has already deteriorated to the point I'm getting a gas cap error. The last time I bought this same one, it last 3 months before the seal deteriorated to the point it was unusable. I figured maybe I just got a badly made cap from the batch, you know, the oops one. Nope, just cheaply made. I'll go to Auto zone and buy their 20$ one.
