The barrel is fine - as advertised. The seller ships USPS. They do not deliver such a large item. You will have to get a truck because of the huge box it is shipped in and pick it up at the USPS distribution center. which defeats the purpose of purchasing on Amazon.

I was quite pleased with the capacity, and the top was very secure. Because of the black sides I used a silver-colored Sharpie to write the destination. It worked well.

It's a 55 gallon drum. I was a little disappointed as someone had tried to cut a hole in it. Luckily I needed to cut a hole there so it didn't matter.
