I read the reviews and wasn’t sure if they would be good for sensitive ears, but I wanted to try anyway. I made myself a pair of clay earrings using these posts and wore them all day for Halloween. My skin is sensitive to cheap metals and these didn’t bother my ears at all. Not even the slightest itch. In fact, I forgot they were even in my ears until I went to bed and laid on my side lol. I won’t say no one will have a bad reaction to these, but as far as being hypoallergenic, they certainly work for me!

I liked these though they were larger than I wanted. The color is nice, but they do fade/change after a few months, at least on me. The good thing is, there are so many, you can replace them.

I'm allergic to nickel and most metals. Earrings usually itch within minutes then go to a metal burn type reaction. I know they shouldn't be allowed to say hypoallergenic unless it's actually hypoallergenic. That said, usually even stainless steel bothers me and what I received looks like the photo and still isn't irritating my ears after a few days. I have a hard time finding good sterling silver so I'm very glad to find these and to know that they work for me.Allergies are highly individual and you can become allergic even if you weren't before. Even most hypoallergenic stuff bothers me. So hopefully..Update: since I plan to sell earrings using these, I got a JSP nickel testing kit. These were not reactive and didn’t turn the cotton pink. I tested some Temu jewelry I know I react to, to be sure the test is good and the cotton did turn pink on those. So if nickel is your issue, the posts I received definitely didn’t test as containing nickel and I’d feel safe saying they are truly hypoallergenic.

I was a little leery to purchase this product after reading some of the reviews, so I was very careful in my examination of the product upon arrival.I actually took the time to count each stud back. Both the 4 mm and the 6 mm (sized correctly, see photo number two) Had 100 pieces (50 pair) with a couple more added in for good measure. All of them were the appropriate medium gray color of stainless steel.Since there were more than the 50 pair, I felt free to try and bend a few of the posts off the plates. I was unsuccessful. These appear to be very sturdy.I did not count the butterfly or rubber backs but there appears to be the correct amount.The backs go onto the posts nicely and hold securely at the notch. I have worn one for several hours, even forgetting I had it on. My ear showed no reaction at all.I feel confident in using these in the jewelry I make and sell, and would recommend these to a friend or my students.

Awesome product! Some did fall apart oming out of packaging but for the price it’s ok. They are super shiny easy to work with & comfy to wear!

I ordered the 500pcs gold earring posts and backs. There are definitely more silver than gold pieces even though the description on the packet says "GOLD". Have not tried to see if they are hypo-allergenic as they claim to be as I haven't opened the package yet - might be returning them...

This is my first purchase of this item. True to size and description.I have sensitive ears and I didn't react to these at all over numerous all day wears. No discolouration.A few were faulty but great value nonetheless.Stems are perfect if you need to embed the pad of the earring in the polymer clay but too long if you adhere something just to the surface of the pad.Will be purchasing again.

Here I was waiting for shiny silver earring finding and instead I got almost black looking things. Definitely not the same as the photo… very disappointed
