My patio heater quit working as it has on the past. Did some research this time and discovered this part that I did not know was in the upper valve assembly where the thermocouple is seated. So I purchased this on a whim to accompany a new thermocouple is seated. Installed both and now the heater is up and running.

A year ago I purchased a patio heater from Sam's Club for $99 on sale. It worked perfectly all winter. This year I went to light the heater and It would light but would not stay lit. I called Sam's technical service and they said the warranty ran out two months ago but they knew what the problem was and it would cost about $75 for a new assembly.. I researched the problem on the web and decided to try this $10 part. I installed it and the heater worked perfectly

Wie es immer so ist: wenn etwas kaputt geht, immer zum ungünstigsten Zeitpunkt. So auch hier: Heizung streikt mitten im Urlaub.Nachdem uns klar war wo der Fehler liegt, bestellten wir diese Teile, die dank Amazon am nächsten Tag auf den Campingplatz geliefert wurden.Eins gleich eingebaut (passte perfekt in unsere Truma!) und eines haben wir jetzt als Ersatz dabei. Besser geht’s nicht.
