Actually purchased this for a friend who had recently lent me his Big Red Troy-Bilt tiller to incorporate soil amendments into a new plot. I don't do much actual tillage any more, tending toward attempting to maintain a less disturbed soil structure, but there are times when the counter-rotating tines of the Horse, et al, are the perfect tool, and this furrowing attachment is the perfect compliment. It is as far as I can tell, an duplicate of the product offered by Troy-Bilt, albeit at less than half their usual asking price. The dimensions, finish, and build seem identical, and after this past season's use it has proven to be every bit as durable and capable..If you own a Troy-Bilt tiller and don't have this attachment you are definitely missing out on a huge part of the machine's potential. While I no longer own a Troy-Bilt tiller, I had owned an 8 hp Kohler engined Horse previously for years, and their furrowing attachment was something that I had purchased with it when new. Used it for better than 20 years before someone decided that they liked it better than me and stole it right out of my potato patch one evening, where I had been using it to dig 'taters. Hard to beat for forming raised beds, planting, and shallow ditching. For the price you really can't go wrong, and actually, even at twice the price I never regretted my original purchase..

This is fabulous if you have a garden. It takes just a few minutes to put this on the tiller but it is so worth it. It makes planting so much faster. Definitely a product you can’t live without!

I have a Powermate 196cc rear tine tiller (which is the same as the Southland). When this arrived there was some modification that had to be done prior to use. The part that mounts to the depth bar needed to be ground down about 1/4" on the top in order to make it flat so it would fit. Once this was complete it mounted fairly easy.I have a pretty large garden (120 ft x 60 ft) I used this to hill my corn rows (10 rows 50ft long) and it worked pretty well. We have very sandy soil so there is not much resistance when moving along so that was not much of an issue. I did have some issues with going straight as it has a tendency to drift and once is starts it is hard to get back on track. That is not the fault of the product but just is what it is.I was able to hill the 10 rows in quick time and am glad I bought it. This version is cost effective, with minimal work (grinding took about 20 min) I was in business. I would buy it again. For those without the ability to modify it might not be ask easy though.

Does not fit Craftsman 800 series, but has enough parts that you can modify it to fit.Works perfectly after those modifications, such as Re-welding, and Cutting to fit.

It’s a garden plow. I use it for my potatoes plowing my potatoes up or making roast for my potatoes. It works excellent for that and planting.

I want to LOVE this product! It's built like a brick house. It's beautiful. It looks like it could plow the entire Midwest of America.BUT IT'S TOO MODERN FOR MY POOR TROY BILT HORSE III TILLER!!!The connectors won't work on my 1987 Troy Bilt Horse III, as it doesn't have the kick-back preventer, where this device is meant to be attached. Please make sure you check the photos I've included, and compare them to your tiller. If your tiller does NOT have the kick-back preventer, it's too old, and this device won't fit.I don't see this as the seller's fault, or mine, really. There's just not many of these old girls left around, and every reference document I consulted said this would fit. But alas, it does not. I will have to mound the earth by hand, I'm afraid.

The plow its self is very nice and well made i gave bad marks instead of 5 stars all the way because the instructions are not great in the way of telling you how to attach it with the adapters

I ordered this not certain if it came with the adapters or not. When it arrived I was relieved to see that the adapters were in the box. When I went out to install this on my old Troy-Bilt Horse PTO tiller I looked at the Troy-Bilt adapter and said, "No Way Will That Work." Upon further examination I found that this fit my tiller without using an adapter. It fits perfectly with a single bolt using a hole that was already there. The only thing that I would criticize is that the bolt for affixing to the tiller is a little short. For me that was not really a problem as I used a Universal Clevis Pin with washers and a spring to keep it from moving about. My garden had already been loosened up by a couple of passes with the tiller. I was able to make furrows quickly and much easier than if done by hand. The only problem I had was keeping my furrow straight. I think that might be partly due to the tiller wanting to follow non-parallel tracks from previous tilling. I had the wings attached and they were as close to parallel with the ground as possible. My old tiller was just barely able to pull the extra load of the dirt the wings moved.Overall I would recommend this to anyone who wants to save a lot of labor and time. It does add some effort to controlling the tiller, but is well worth it.

So, this is amazing. I wasn't sure if it would fit my Honday FR750 (I'm in Australia) but it does and works a treat. I just used a bolt to get it connect to the where the drag bar screw normally goes, and then improved on that with a tapered bolt. This attachment means I can now plant hundreds of potato plants without breaking a sweat. It even matches the Honda red. Basically, Earthquake need to make a modified version for the Honda 750 and small scale farming can make a comeback. It would also be great if they gave some advice on building raised beds with it e.g., 30 inch/75cm beds with a 45cm path is what I have done.
