It's a little see through and thinner fabric but works great for hot summer baseball games. My son is on the skinner side 12 year old and size L works great.

My son is very small for his age. These were huge in a small. A mom on his team told me to size down. I think that will work great because her son is the same build as mine and they fit him perfectly. My daughter is 6, and wears a small in girls. We ordered small and it fits perfectly.
