This is a nice little set, especially for a younger/newer musician or for use/storage of a spare mouthpiece. The cap itself is of decent quality and fits my Vandoren mouthpieces without any issue. I have used this ligature a few times and it has worked pretty well. I fear that it would be pretty easy to strip the screw if you were not paying attention to what you were doing, but it functions well overall! I'm impressed - another pretty darn good Eastrock product!

I got this as a replacement for my clarinet that my son is currently using to learn on because the old one was causing the reed to slip. This fit my clarinet perfectly and the reed sits snugly without any slippage.

On our "fleet" of school clarinets, we typically have one or two broken ligature screws each month--the ligatures included with student-model clarinets are usually made of the cheapest possible metal, and the screws are even worse. The replacement screws cost almost as much as a ligature, so it's often cheaper to just replace the ligature.Of course, I'd prefer if my students upgrade to a more professional ligature, but these are handy for those emergency replacement. I also like the included mouthpiece caps as those tend to get lost, and I insist my students keep a cap on their mouthpiece when not in use, especially at games & parades.

I got this for my daughter who recently started playing clarinet. It is a must have and a great product.

This piece replaced a broken part on my son’s clarinet and although not a perfect match for what was there, it functions well and came with 3 extras for just in case.
