My kid was about to take ukelele lessons so figured I'd purchase rather than rent. Tried out a cheap-o uke and it was nothing more than a toy. First fret either buzzed or didn't work (action was too high), felt cheap and went out of tune constantly. Picked up this Eastrock -- it was night and day. Solid construction an the tone just jumped from the li'l soprano. It wasn't in tune to start, but it was close -- which means they pre-stretched the strings. So, all in all, stays pretty well in tune, all things considered.I then picked up a concert version for myself from a different manufacturer based on a wirecutter recommendation. It was _fine_ but poor, lightweight construction and same out-of-tune problem, but the killer was that one of the tuning pegs kept slipping. Back to Eastrock and, boom... had the same experience as the soprano.In addition to the ukelele they provide a robust carrying case and a nice bag of tricks -- even an electronic tuner, which is amazingly handy. Highly recommend this manufacturer for your entry level Ukelele.

I'm impressed with how well the kit has been put together. The picks, tuner, extra strings, and strap are nice accessories to have available, especially at this price range. Though I prefer heavily padded gig bags (especially for beginners), the included gig bag is well made. The extra strings are labeled as carbon strings; this is a nice feature if you want to experiment between a Nylgut (the strings originally on the ukulele) or a carbon string tone. As for the strap, my main concern is potential damage to the soundhole.The ukulele itself is cleanly made and packaged decently. The overall construction is very clean. I found no excess glue, high frets, sanding marks, etc. The tuners are lightweight and have plastic heads but function properly. One of my main concerns is the condition of the neck when buying cheaper ukuleles. This ukulele has a well finished neck that feels very solid. The only downside of the neck is that it significantly outweighs the body so that the ukulele neck dives. Another concern about the neck is the roughness and sharpness of the frets. The the fact that the edge frets don't stick out of the fretboard sides helps the frets sharp edges. However, roughly finished frets are expected in this price range and can even be an issue at ukuleles 5 times the price. The fairly clean and punchy tone is accompanied by a good amount of volume.Overall I would recommend this ukulele to any aged beginner or someone who wants a secondary ukulele for travel. I was impressed by the clean finish and some of the details included on the ukulele. I hope to see more quality products from Eastrock in the future.

I've been playing this new EastRock Concert ukulele for about a week and love the warm tone and resonance of this instrument. It has really good sustain and simply sounds very full and darker than my other ukuleles--very pleasing! The craftsmanship is very nice! The Sapele wood is absolutely beautiful! The ukulele has a very classic look with white binding, closed geared tuners, bone nut and saddle and I'm not sure if the bridge and fingerboard are ebony or rosewood, but the quality is quite nice. There are side fret markers at frets 5, 7, 10, 12 & 15, and there is a strap button! The ukulele comes with everything you need to get started. You get a digital tuner that is very accurate, picks, a polishing cloth, really really nice strap, extra strings and a tie-string bag to keep all your accessories....and something I did not have, a little finger shaker or sand hammer, which is really fun to play with for some added percussion while you strum! They also ship the ukulele in a very nice padded gig bag with large pocket, padded handle and double shoulder straps! This bag is nicer than those of my higher end ukuleles. EastRock went all out! This ukulele CANNOT be beat for the money! EastRock also has an unheard of guarantee on their ukuleles with a 2 year money-back guarantee! I can’t imagine anyone retuning this beauty as it is such nice quality and has clear warm sound. If you are looking for a beginner ukulele or looking to move to a concert from a soprano you won't be disappointed in this ukulele!

Beautiful ukulele. Comfortable to hold and great for beginners. The sound is bright and cheerful, exactly what you want from a ukulele. Plus, it comes with a great carrying bag and accessories, making it a great value! My daughter has enjoyed learning to play it.

This Eastrock concert ukulele is a real bargain. The sapele wood model that I purchased has a beautiful sunrise pattern on it. It is very easy to play and sounds great. It also comes with a nice case, extra string set, picks,strap, cleaning cloth, and a very nice electronic tuner. A real step up from the toy ukulele I'd been playing!

FOR THE PRICE: This is my go to uke. Electronics are great, better than the Fishman on my $500 Lanikai. Intonation is not bad as you go up the neck.

Es el segundo que tengo, el primero se me rompió a causa de mis hijos pequeños, y volvà a comprar el mismo. Tiene un gran sonido y es bastante bonito en tipo caoba. Es bastante fácil de aprender los acordes y te dará muchos ratos de desconexión aprendiendo. Lo recomiendo al 1000x1000. Buen precio, buen material. Gran ukelele.

Non sono una musicista ma ho iniziato a strimpellare l'ukulele attratta da un approccio semplificato agli accordi poiché lo strumento è di dimensioni ridotte e le corde sono solo 4. Tra tutte le proposte in vendita questa mi è sembrata un'occasione soprattutto per il costo ridotto a fronte degli accessori. E non mi sbagliavo, effettivamente l'ukulele ha un ottimo suono, un suono caldo, è interamente in legno e piacevole da imbracciare. Il kit è dotato di accessori come l'accordatore, la cinta, le corde di ricambio, un panno per pulirlo e una piccola maraca da dito. Sono molto soddisfatta!

El ukelele es precioso y con un sonido muy bueno. El afinador funciona perfectamente y facilita el afinado que en el ukelele hay que hacerlo siempre antes de usarlo. La calidad es muy buena, la funda perfecta y acolchada, asà como la cinta.
