It is 1/8 inch thick and the roll is 12 inches wide- so if you buy one foot you will get a 12x12 inch square. Grey in color.

I don't know the quality of this product, but the person who received it as a gift liked the size of it and wants to use it all as a large project rather than cut it up. I think is it about 12 inches high. I don't know it's length

After trying at length yesterday to carve this, I have to say that I didn't think it was as easy to use as the other reviewer stated. I have brand new tools and good hand strength and I found it a bit difficult. I also think it is near impossible to get this unrolled and flattened out to use. I've tried all manner of weighting and warming and as soon as you disengage those devices, it just rolls back up. I think in the future I will just buy the pre cut sheets.

I was expecting a far more flexible, less brittle linoleum. What I got was something rather on the thick side!The package was also delivered later than I wanted it.

I was expecting a 2 foot roll of linoleum. This came to me in 2 squares of 1 foot each.I had planned to use this for printmaking.The linoleum is very hard and the edges came frayed, I assume from a sloppy cutting job (That should not have happen because it was supposed to be a ROLL)

I'ved used the golden cut and the battleship linoleum before, which is mounted on canvas. I've also used the linoleum mounted on a block of wood. I really enjoy this gray linoleum because it's mounted on nothing. It's so soft to carve, yet not as soft as the speedball white. I would definitely give this stuff a try if you're looking for a soft, yet durable linoleum.

This lino doesnt carve the best and its thin. It gets the job done but requires a lot of "workarounds" and still not getting a clean stamp compared to other lino material.
