The tall black edging has a wood-grain textured wall that creates a clean line between landscaping and grass or weeds and helps contain ground cover materials in garden beds including river rock, lava rock, pebbles, wood mulch, pine needles, and more. Installing EasyFlex Landscape Edging is as easy as clearing the area of debris and loose dirt, laying the edging along the desired shape and hammering the anchoring spikes (included) through the tab. Easily cut the recycled plastic coil with garden shears or utility scissors to use in multiple garden beds. Use No-Dig Edging with weed fabric for an extra layer of weed protection. The spikes easily pierce through weed fabric and help secure the barrier. The plastic is durable, yet flexible enough to give a clean edge to any shape garden or create tight circles around trees. The patented No-Dig L-shaped design eliminates damage from digging into tree and plant roots. Kit includes (1) 100-foot coil of landscape edging and (64) 8 in. spiral spikes. I bought this at a small discount (10%?) because the packaging was damaged. Amazon did a great job of repackaging it though, and there was absolutely no damage to the contents. It was a heavy package as you might expect, but it was a lot of edging in one box too. And plenty of spikes. I think I got 6 or 8 packages with connectors that I didn't really need anyway, but that's okay. I read after I installed it that if you unroll it all and lay it out in the sun for a day or so, it softens up and loses its waviness. You can see in the photos that it is a bit wavy but when I added soil to the outside of the edging after these pictures were taken, it straightened out quite a bit.My process was as follows:- dug out a 2" deep trench along the outer edge of the house- laid down weed fabric that rose up the foundation a bit- pressed the edging against the outer edge of the trench, tabs on the house side, anchoring it every 10 tabs or so with a spike (on corner and curves I had to use more)- added the crushed stone to the top lip of the edging- used the soil I had dug out to fill the thin space outside the edging so it was flush with the top of the edging (this was done after the photos were taken)Great product! Very satisfied!

After removing my old, rusted metal landscape edge last year, I thought I could get away with not having any edging, but the rocks and mulch kept creeping into my yard. I looked at all the different landscape edging options and this seemed to be the easiest to install that also looked good.I will admit, after reading some of the more critical reviews, I was concerned that there wouldn't be enough pegs, or they wouldn't be sturdy enough. Well, at least for my rocky soil, the pegs were plenty sturdy and I had more than enough to complete three different beds with plenty left over to do more beds (I bought more edging than I needed). The edging bends easy enough and I had no issues with molding it around the edges of my beds.If I had any complaints, it would be that the vertical edge can flex some which makes me slightly concerned, but it is holding back the rocks in two beds without issue.

I used this to make a border for a garden in my backyard. I was extremely surprised at how easy it is to work with and it came out much sturdier then the big box store stuff. My backyard is decomposed granite so if you have a harder ground like mine I would recommend getting a metal spike to hammer in before hammering in the plastic spikes they give you, but the plastic is surprising very durable and could take a beating.

Feels very sturdy and easy to cut with a tin snips or any heavy duty scissors. It's about an 1/8th to 3/16thof an inch thick. It's kind of rubbery and not a type of hard plastic, so it is flexible yet sturdy. The 100' roll comes with 15 bags of 6 spikes and 1 connector or 90 spikes and 15 connectors. I still ordered and used extra spikes and I put the spikes in every 3rd hole. I only had 1 broken connector but I think I only used 3 or 4 connectors. This edging is holding my 1" x 2" Palmetto River Rock in place with no problems. Using the 100' roll was easy enough as I laid the whole roll out where I wanted it first and then started spiking it into place. A little adjustment as I went and everything turned out OK. I spiked this right on top of my lawn's grassy or bald spots with no problems. I wasn't going to use any edging but after my string trimmer started to smack the Rocks around I realized I needed something to prevent that from happening. This is durable enough to resist any string trimmer beating, so it's just what I needed. I recommend this edging and think you will like it too. Get some you won't regret it.

Easy to install and create a border separating lawn and landscape bed. Recommend purchasing additional stakes for added support.

Overall, this product serves its purpose. However, there are nowhere near enough stakes included for 100 ft. We started off putting stakes in every other hole and quickly realized we still would not have enough. So we started putting them every third hold. Still, we ran out of stakes with over half the roll left still. No we have to put the project on hold until we get more stakes. Don't advertise it as "stakes included" if there is not enough for the whole roll.

This product is sold as advertized. It benefits from sitting in the sun before installation. The kit does not come with enough pins for most applications

Received it to do work on the long weekend but now have to wait until Tuesday to go into town to purchase anchor nails because they didn't come with the package as advertised. Lost 3 days of work
