I installed this device in an Eaton BR panel to run my 3/4 hp air compressor. It works fine. However, sometimes after a thunderstorm I will go into the shop and find the breaker tripped. It has never tripped while in use though......

This is the 2nd one that has failed when needed, in an emergency no less! When these fail they no longer reset internally. You can work the handle but nothing happens. This is by design to indicated the self-test failed. No more of this GFCI nonsense. Putting in a regular breaker. You can always protect at the outlet level if necessary.

I was hesitant to purchase this online, but very hard to find locally. Some of the reviews are negative, but then seeing people buying the item used. There are certain things I'm comfortable buying used, but electrical components isn't on that list. Bought a new one and its perfect.

This breaker was used (as advertised) and listed as "very good condition" but one if the 120v poles did not work.Items that have the potential to burn your house down should be checked by a compent person before sale.
