They perform just like the original wicks. Size is long and you can cut into desired pieces which is really convenient. It burns good and keeps the flame manageable.

I think they should come with instructions to see if you insert them from top or from bottom of the wick holder. I went on line and looked it up. They were not to be found at any store in my area so I bought them from Amazon. They do work good.
