Your cart is empty.The latest in sport rotors features wide aperture slots that draw cool air into the braking contact area and reduce temperatures preventing brake fade. Dimple drilling avoids stress cracks and the new gold anodized EBC finish provides great looks whilst preventing corrosion. EBC sport rotors now feature reduced 3 slot venting which provides slightly less air noise under heavy braking whilst still maintaining the benefits of cooler running with the full width slot design. The design of these rotors means that some wind noise is observed and if drivers feel they would find this offensive they are advised to select the quieter USR Ultimax series or the EBC plain rotor. Another great feature of slotted rotors is the way they maintain flat and parallel pad wear and avoid the record grooves or galling common with non-slotted rotors. This improves pad contact and braking throughout the life of the rotor and pad set.

So far these rotors work great- they are slightly lighter than the solid rotors they replaced, and the black coating is a nice touch (they will obviously wear silver at the contact areas with the pads). For the money, you cannot go wrong for a nice set of drilled/slotted rotors- these are a bargain!Unlike the photo, they come coated on black- I'm guessing some sort of anodizing. It'll keep the centers from rusing and turning ugly over time, but keep it in mind of you don't want a black center.

These brakes work great! When trying them out for the first time, they brake smoothly. So smooth that you can hear the rotors and brake pads touch. My pads are top of the line autozone pads. Nothing special but do the job by braking on the dime.Thickness on these rotors on a 1997 mustang Cobra are .071. Factory rotors are .070 which doesn't really make a difference when putting them on with the pads. Did have a tough time putting one the rear rotors and pads but had to modify the pads by sanding down the back side of the pad. Front pads and rotors went in smoothly with no hassle.Other then that I would suggest anyone to buy these pads even though I had a little trouble with the rears pads and rotors. For the price and looks on theses rotors I would buy them again.
