Saw this on another website but decided to order here. I was a little wary from it being cheaper than most wood piccolos but I was pleasantly surprised with how full the sound is. I have gotten lots of compliments on how beautiful it looks and the sounds produced. Took a while for the shipping but super happy with the purchase! It arrived in perfect condition, little adjusting in the head joint but that's pretty normal. Overall a great buy.

The bottom octave is weak; the four lowest chromatic tones won’t sound at all, so if you’re playing a Vivaldi piccolo concerto you can’t hit low F. The high C can be played but it’s sharp. Middle range sounds okay so I guess it’s a matter of how much you expect at this price.

This piccolo looks great and had a great sound but the inner tube inside the head joint came out not even within 10 days of having the damn thing that tube is so crucial for tuning the instrument so having it fall out messes with the tuning so much that some of the notes dont even register as the note your fingering so beware before you buy!!!

ものすごく吹きづらいのだが、このお値段ならこんなものなのかもしれない。一応音は出るが、音量は小さく、ピッチも合わせにくい。おそろしくピッチが合わないので、おかしいな？と思ったら、反射板の位置が大きくズレていたのだが、ヘッドコルクがスクリューを回しても移動せず、いったんペンチで引き抜いてから位置を調整した。自分が買ったものが不良品だったのかもしれない。4万円近くするので、もうちょっとまともに吹けるかと思ったが、もう1万円だろうが5万円だろうがきちんとしたメーカーのものでないと、どうにもならないのかもしれない。比較のために2万円くらいのものも買って、吹き比べてみようと思っている。

ピッコロを吹くのは随分と久しぶりなので、正直言って現時点での感想は『ピッコロってこんなに吹きにくかったっけ』というところです。もちろんかなりの低価格の物ですから、本格的なものとは随分と差があるのだろうと、容易に想像はできますが、現時点では特に問題はありません。
