When I bought a new Echo CS-590 chainsaw I did some research to make sure the oil I was using would meet the warranty requirements.... I found that the oil I had been using in all of my 2-stroke equipment (the expensive "Ultra" stuff from another well known manufacturer) didn't meet the warranty requirements for my new Echo. Red Armor exceeds ISO-L-EGD and JASO FD, so now I use Red Armor in all of my 2-stroke toys. This oil is well known for keeping two stroke engines and spark arrestors clean and well lubricated, why use anything else?

This is the good stuff for Echo or Shindaiwa 2 cycle equipment. Less expensive then the dealer or big box store.

This Jaso rated FD oil is the best you can get for small, air cooled 2 cycle engines. Superb lubrication and best cleaning detergents.
