When I would take my Hyundai Sonata in for service, they would always say my cabin filter needs replaced. I always thought, "Yeah sure, trying to up sell me." I saw this on Amazon for a very reasonable price and bought it. I'm sure the dealer would have charged me much more than the $10.00 I paid for this. I watched a YouTube video on how to change it, super simple by the way, and when I took out the old one...OMG! Turns out, they're very important. A dirty cabin filter makes your AC work harder and can cause expensive damage. Trust me...this is a very important and inexpensive preventive maintenance purchase. Don't get taken by a dealer or mechanic. This is so easy to change, no tools required!

Giving this only 4 stars right now until it gets a bit more use, but for price, ease of install 4 stars. I just installed this myself in about 5 minutes after watching a DIY video on Youtube on my 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport. I've included pictures comparing what the mechanic said was dirty and needed changing (for outrageous price b/c they were losing money on my warranty repair) and the new item, plus the location of where it fits into with the cover off. No tools needed. Didn't even get dirty much!Pretty sure this had an instruction sheet inside, but I didn't see it until after I was recycling the box. I didn't need it since I'd confirmed the install with a video, but it's good instructions were provided.I will try to come back and give an update in a few months if I see a change or decline in performance of product.UPDATE 7/2020: I have just had to replace my previous purchase of this (a year later). There was some dirt and nuts the chipmunks put in there, just as they do to my engine filter. TIP: to prevent chipmunks, make sure your A/C is ON circulating -not open for exterior air to come through. I haven't driven with it, since this latest install, but I noticed that the Amazon listing now claims this does NOT fit my car. No idea why that is. Side note: auto parts store wants $27 for one of these; and the mechanic charges about $40. RIP OFF.

Fit perfectly in my 2015 Hyundai Sonata. Seems like decent quality as it's not flimsy, and saved a ton by replacing it myself as opposed to going to the dealer. It's a simple job to replace by opening the glove compartment, removing the two knobs on the inside and one on the right side of the glove box, and then popping open the filter holder. No tools are needed whatsoever and takes like 10 seconds total!
