My wire racks are maybe 20 years old. They actually do not make 'em like that anymore. Newer ones are much thinner and the corners don't fit mine by a mile. Or 1.61 Km. Take a very close look at the design, and you'll see the subtle differences. I have a significant number of the old wire cubes, so this entire box will see use. Already coming together like a dream! Pictured is one of my originals (right) and the tiny new ones.

I purchased these to use as connectors for Black Wire Rack Modular storage that was originally purchased at Target. (I have included these in the pictures for anyone who also has this problem. The connectors that came with the set were difficult to work with and after disassembling the storage for two moves they have all broken and cracked and are useless. The Econoco connectors worked well with the black wire panels (panels do not have vinyl coverings, it is just metal). My only complaint is that the there are small variations in the width of the openings. Some are nice and snug, others hold the panels more loosely. I guess that is what you get when they are made in China. Other than that I am happy with them, they are much sturdier than the originals and now I can use the modular storage again.I was concerned with the width of the connector matching the width of the panel. There are also no measurement a listed for the width of the connector opening. So for reference- three pennies do not fit into the width of this connector. Two pennies and a dime fit nice and snugly down into the slot, but do not make it down to the bottom. Hopefully this helps someone else with their purchase.

This is the connector I've been looking for. It's the exact size that was used when I bought my wire crates over 20 years ago. I have those connectors but I wanted to make smaller crates out of them and I did not have enough I tried all different ones and they were not big enough. I wish I could have bought a bag of 50 instead of 100 since I really don't need that many but other than that these are great!

I needed these for some older panels that I have. It took a lot of elbow grease to put them in place but they hold everything together very well.

These worked perfectly for my shelving unit. They were very tight, so a little difficult to get off if wanting to change the structure, but great if you want to lift the whole thing and move it without it coming apart.

These didn’t work for me. They Did Not allow the wire grids to stay intact. They constantly fell off of my grids causing them to collapse. I had to use tape to secure so that they wouldn’t fall apart. I personally would not buy this product again as it didn’t do what I expected it to do. A total waste of money!
