Set of 12 wax type colored pencils in pastel colors ranging from mauve to mint, to pink to peach to yellow. The laydown of the pencil is nice and dense. The "macaron" name is reminiscent of the colors of those round French sweets (or of guimauve, French marshmallow strips.)These pencils have a triangular cross section so do not roll. But they have no end cap and no color name or even number on each pencil. So kinda cheaped out in that regard, as well as the "box" is a thin plastic sheet case.The per-pencil is about seventy-some coins. Derwent Pastels (a premium pencil) are about double that. Just to give you some idea where they fall in the range of art supply colored pencils.These are nice for coloring and taking along in case you don't want to lose your better pencils --nice for mandala work or for kids doing unicorns, fairies, pwincesses and even barfing jaundiced trolls. Mmm. Now I want to go draw a barfing jaundiced troll. Too much mead, my little friend, eh?

I really like the collection of pastel colors. Even though I have many pencils to color with, I am really happy to have more of a variety of pastel pencils.

I really like these pencils, they are triangular shaped which makes them easy to hold, and they have a nice texture that you can feel. I love the colors! and they are so smooth when you mark with them.

These are really nice colored pencils. The color is good easy to use I've already used so much have sharpened and the tips do not break when you sharpen them! Love them

I live the colors & the way the pencil writes. But when I try to sharpen the lead keeps breaking off. I've got a few of these pencils with only a fourth of pencil left. I've tried different sharpeners still no go. And the sharpener gets stuck with the pencil because the pencil has started to separate. The wood is layered & the layers start to fall apart. Then when I do get it started it breaks off. No this isn't the problem stated above.
