This tailgate cap is even better than the OEM one fits so well and so perfect and so quickly I cannot believe it the build of it and the quality is outstanding. This was the third tailgate cap I purchased, and the only one that fit exactly as it should if you need one for your Tacoma definitely buy this one.

It was everything I was looking for. My last one flew off on the highway and it was bare & odd looking. I bought this one and it was a perfect fit and look. You wouldn’t even have noticed it wasn’t an original part.

It's almost perfect. It's snaps into place and all but one of the holes for the bolts line up perfectly. It's 1/4" short of each side from oem fit. The screws that come with the piece aren't long enough so stick with your factory bolts to get it in. Besides that it's wonderful looks just like the oem trim. It functions as intended and it's a good bang for the buck.

Broke the factory original cap with railroad ties in my Tacoma bed. Bought this cheap replacement. It fits, but it isn't long enough, both sides have a substantial gap.
