Wonderful sturdy easy to keep clean non rusting or warping seating. So easy to move from location to location. I have two one in my bathroom another in the bedroom. Comfortable and fun style make this a perfect addition to my modern minimalist decor.

With five kids, wobble chairs and I have developed a long lasting relationship. I am a fan of this brand and have been buying quality furniture from them for over a decade, so was eager to try this new offering.The red is a bright primary red, nothing subdued about the color - if anything it is a bit brighter in person, even, then the listing photos.Very solid construction, no flex even when stress tested with 200+ adult lbs! Nice standard height chair that is appropriate size for regular desks/dining tables.My one observation is that even though I marked out the dimensions, it is even larger looking in person - so be prepared for a rather large footprint. If you want to use with a desk, make sure the opening can accommodate it - or if at the table you will want more space than a regular chair's footprint.If using this chair in straddle mode, I also want to note that it's a rather wide straddle so I think this chair is most easily suited to the over 5 foot crowd - the younger ones will have fun playing on it, but I'm just not sure it would be all that comfortable for more than 5-10 minutes. The company makes a shorter/slimmer version for the younger crowd.

We have the ECR4Kids wave seat in both the short size and this size. I have ADHD boys (3) with the oldest being almost 8 and on the smaller side. My 5 year old fits great in the smaller size seat and its a good height for the kindergarten height desks. the shorter one is too short for the 2nd grade height desks, but this 18" size works great. There are several ways to use it but the most popular with my kids is the way its displayed in the main photo as a chair/stool. My older son mainly uses it in this orientation and is around 4' tall. My youngest and middle boys are not tall enough to use this as a stool, but can rock on it like a seesaw. The color is nice and neutral and a true light grey. We have wobble stools in the same color from this company and all of them match the same color so production must be pretty consistent and no fear of different "dye lots" or anything. The plastic is very sturdy, and heavy duty. You can't break this if you tried. Its not heavy either, but at the same time has just enough weight to not be pushed over easily on accident and still have a child manage to move it if needed. Very happy with the stools from this company and the ability to get bigger sizes as kids grow.

Hopefully the damage on all four that I purchased doesn’t affect their long term use. Very heavy duty. May have to return if the damage scratches students.

I absolutely love my ECR4Kids Wave Seat! I'm the type of person who loves to fidget, and this is perfect for me as there is a natural forward rock to the chair in the perch position. Please note, reviewers have listed this chair as dangerous, but if you look at their photos, the chair is backward. The chair has 3 positions, and in the perch mode, you should have the curved part at your legs as shown in the listing. I have included screenshots of the listing as well. I felt this is important as I think this chair is awesome. I didn't want others to be steered away thinking it was dangerous when in fact it was not being used properly. I am 5ft 3 inches for reference as well. Also, I have a large booty, and this chair fits perfectly and does not aggravate my sciatica.

this is so fun and comfortable to use.I sat on the wave seat three different ways but my favorite is putting my feet on the inside and rocking back and forth . It was not only comfortable but fun and relaxing i did not want to stop.And 18 inches is perfect height for an adult, teen or child.You sit straddling the seat or front and back.If you buy a another wave seat that is lower you can use as a desk also and nest the 2nd on with this one to save space or as a 2nd seat.The lavender is so pretty.

Side by side comparison of the difference between 18 in and 14 in. I would recommend the 18 inch for older kids or the teacher and the 14 inch for elementary ages. We love these chairs and they help us get the wiggles out while learning at home. Very sturdy plastic and easy to clean.

This wave chair is easy to sit on, wipes of easily and isn't too heavy to move around when you are expecting company and want to have an extra place to sit! I often have friends stop by to visit with my pups outside and this seat is always claimed first and I just spray it when they leave to remove any muddy paw smears!

This seat has helped us tremendously my son Was not able to sit at the table and have a meal and with this chair he can sit for at least 7 minutes before he gets back up again
