I've been unable to locate chain by the yard on the local market, other than pre-packaged kits. This is exactly what I need for hanging my swag lamp collection. The fastener on the ends (included) is a great idea!

I used this to hang a really large 1950's UL light. Everything went together quite easily and it holds the weight without issue. Well worth the money.

This not suitable for pendant light cords. The links are not big enough for the plug to go through. This is the exact same chain I bought to replace the chain for a swing set. It would work great for that.
