I love edco black backed foil. I hate to use any other brand. When it was out of stock for months I tried many others and didn’t find any that I liked. This foil is thick enough to burnish easily without ripping and is easy to get to lay down around curves.Another positive is that when soldering the adhesive does not make a mess like some other brands.I will always purchase and recommend this foil!

I have been doing stained glass copper foil for 25 years and this is the easiest foil I have ever found. It adheres to glass so well, and seems to smoothly wrap around the glass. My soldering lines are cleaner and no more removing previously foiled glass that not wrapped on evenly. I love this foil, and will continue to use it going forward.

I use this product almost daily. It is an excellent product but the last packs I ordered have a common problem. They’ve been stored incorrectly. This copper is a tape. The adhesive on the back needs cool temperatures. The last packs I ordered have quite a bit of adhesive melted out of the edges. This causes a dirty solder when the solder is applied. I spend quite a bit of time cleaning my stained glass panels and this adds more cleaning time since each piece I foil needs to be cleaned before soldering.

as I was using this foil the black adhesive slowly kept coming off onto the front and sides of the foil and glass! got to the point where I could no longer use it! I just threw it away and bought a new roll at a stained-glass supplier and had no problem. Must have got some bad stock or was not stored or handled correctly! I won't ever buy foil on Amazon again! Plus cost less at a supplier! I also bought a roll of 3/16 foil and had the same problem! bought at the same time! Go figure!

This is the product i ordered but it seems to be crushed across the middle on both sides like something very heavy and narrow was laid on top of it. So i cant use more than 6 or 7 inches without hitting damaged material. Unfortunately unusable for my applications.
