I always read reviews and research before purchasing online so I hope this helps. This was worth the price, my niece tends to get warm quickly and isn’t a fan of jackets or sweaters but she has grown a love for this jacket. It’s not to bulky or stuff it has movement and could be layered with a thermal or long sleeve and still have great flexibility for her. When she found it’s reversible she was amazed and loved the floral print. The zipper is good quality and doesn’t jam like other zippers would. The navy color is beautiful and it won’t show if she gets it dirty. I’ve bought a lot of kids clothes before in stores like Ross and Marshall’s and this was my first kid Amazon purchase and it didn’t disappoint.

This is an adorable coat but I expected higher quality from Eddie Bauer and the pricetag... I knew the mint green cuffs on the sleeves would get dirty but since they are mostly elastic they don't come clean, despite spraying them with laundry stain spray before washing. The elastic cuffs material also balled up almost immediately, so they're fuzzy and look pretty shabby. The coat material is also very easily torn and my daughter has a few small tears and holes from playing outside at preschool. She doesn't complain of being cold so I think the down does keep her warm, despite my observation of it being quite thin and the down filling being pretty sparse. After a couple washes the down filling balled up in the channels too. Our winters are mild here but I'd go for something heavier if you're in a very cold climate.
