PART IS EDELBROCK,MADE FOR EDELBROCK. I INSTALLED IT ON A MOTORCRAFT CARB. IT FIT PERFECTLY,BUT DID NOT WORK. I HAD TO REVERSE THE BI-METAL SPRING. NOW IT WORKS PERFECTLY. EVIDENTLY THE EDELBROCK CHOKE WORKS IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF MY MOTORCRAFT. THIS IS NOT IN THE DESCRIPTION. BUT AGAIN, WITH THE SPRING REVERSED,IT WORKS PERFECTLY!!!

Worked as it should for a used Edelbrok 1406 carburetor I purchased. Seems to pull the choke off a little slower than before, but still works well.

I have a 94 GMC Sierra K3500 with a 454. My old choke was broken so I purchased this one off amazon and recieved the item very quickly, it was a easy install and works flawlessly. I would recommend this for anyone looking for an electrical choke.
