i ordered two of these trying to route both of the heater hoses behind the alternator on my small block chevy. i was trying to make the heater hoses less visible. one worked out really well in the place that its intended to go but the place in coming off of the water pump will not spin around to be able to screw it in. this is the place where the straight connector goes.i thought it would work but it did not

Looks nice, fit well, allowed me to have a cleaner heater hose routing for my 68 corvette with small block and Edelbrock performer intake manifold.

Cleaned up engine bay just a little bit more, i used liquid teflon (thread sealant) vs tape so you can stop exactly where you want it with no leaks as top does not rotate.

I used this fitting on my Chevrolet 396 Big Block with an Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake manifold. Works as advertised. Fits factory threaded hole and is way better than the factory fitting that causes your heater hose to kink.

The part was 1/4 inch to long on threads, had to trim. But is working fine

It is what it is. A specialized heater hose adapter to bypass a poorly designed heater tube assembly. Still probably not worth the close to $40 spent. Would have loved this in black but could not see spending another $10-$15 on a small piece of metal just to have it not shiny. Have yet to get this installed but if I have any issues, or product turns out to be a POS, I will update the review.

I used this with an Edelbrock manifold and had to use a 1/2 to 1/2 coupling as the 90on the fitting would contact the manifold when turned. Could not tighten.
