They are ideal in preventing overheating in street rods and street machines, as well as in tow rigs and motor homes. It has 3/4 inch ball/ball bearing. The dimension from block surface to hub is 5-3/4 and its inlet diameter is 1. 95. The aluminum pumps have CNC-machined housings with special one-way internal passages that flow more coolant at higher velocities, even at low engine speeds. The CNC-machined, cast iron impellers are larger than other impellers. They have curved vanes that produce greater flow with less cavitation.

I think the product is much better built than others that leak, I'll know more once I finish install.I like the idea that Eldebrock will rebuild after warranty for $75. This item is not polished as indicated on description but is a cast finish. Painted in out in high heat Chevy Orange so doesn't matter.

Clearly says "polished" in the title and it was cast. I had to install it being that the car was out of commission.

ordered water pump received carburetor return , waited, reordered water pump, first order came in, charged for second order no product wait no credit on second pump not impressed again
