They are ideal in preventing overheating in street rods and street machines, as well as in tow rigs and motor homes. It has 3/4 inch ball/ball bearing. The dimension from block surface to hub is 7-5/16 and its inlet diameter is 1. 875. The aluminum pumps have CNC-machined housings with special one-way internal passages that flow more coolant at higher velocities, even at low engine speeds. The CNC-machined, cast iron impellers are larger than other impellers. They have curved vanes that produce greater flow with less cavitation.

Hands down, Edelbrock makes the BEST Water pumps. Not only are they Lighter than stock, but they Really push more water more efficiently. what does that mean? super cool engine and much better performance. This is the second Edelbrock water pump I've bought and installed on my trucks and I love them.This one was installed on my 92 k2500 suburban 7.4L. came with gaskets and new mounting bolts. it did not come with the hose nipple that runs to the thermostat, so you have to re-use the old one or buy a new one separately.do yourself and your vehicle a favor and get one!
