Used this to edge a couple of floating shelves. Be careful your banding doesn't slide off the workpiece while you're working the iron across it. You have a decent working time before the glue sets up so it's not a problem to reposition just be aware.Takes stain great, especially with a quick wipe of mineral spirits as a pre-conditioner. Didn't gunk up my flush trim bit and was easy to cut with a utility blade, although it seems to be finger-jointed so the grain reverses direction in the middle of the banding sometimes.Would definitely buy again to edge more shelves.

Great quality wood with smooth finish that requires little to no additional prep. The splices are very well cut and nearly seamless, if your project is so long that you cannot cut around them. I almost did notice it at all.Takes stain and finish well.It helps to heat up the glue with a heat gun and tack it onto your workpiece before going over it with the iron.

I purchased this product because it was significantly cheaper than other edge bandings. It looks great once its on but I had a hard time with adhesion and splintering. I found myself having to go back numerous times with a heat gun and burnisher to get the edges to adhere. I'd honestly save yourself the headache and go for a more expensive option. Ive had a lot better success in the past with the pricier stuff.

I used these on the cabinets on my kitchen project. It trimmed and sanded really nice and left a beautiful final edge.

After using an iron to apply the veneer, and then applying stain, it is almost undetectable. Matches my existing golden oak wall unit perfectly..

We purchased an IKEA kitchen counter and needed to cut it to fit. The IKEA edge tape looked terrible and was not enough for our needs. We found this tape and it finished the cut edges perfectly.

This product worked perfect for finishing the edges of custom cut trim within our IKEA kitchen. IKEA makes a white oak cabinet and this product matches it perfectly. It’s unfinished, so if you’re using it in any area that comes in contact with moisture then you will need to put a finish on it.
