Read the other reviews these are for 1.25†(approximately) wide corner posts. They work great. They were a tight fit. I had to hammer them into place. But they are rock solid. I’m very happy with this purchase. I ordered mine and got them the next day.

These coupling pieces worked perfectly to assemble our heavy duty storage shelves. They replace the pieces we'd lost and enabled us to put these shelves together. Very reasonable price that saved us having to just buy new shelves. Arrived very quickly.

I lost my set as I was using my shelf unit as a workbench. Too bad these cost 20% of the original purchase price of the entire shelf, but hey, I needed them and they worked.

These coupling units are required to assemble shelving unit: Muscle Rack 5-Shelf Steel Shelving, Silver-Vein, 24 D x 48 W x 72 H.It is impossible to assemble it without them. They are horribly overpriced but the buyers of the shelving unit must have them. The instructions for assembling the shelving unit show them but do not include them so they must be purchased separately for over $35.49 for just four small pieces of metal. Outrageous. The whole shelving unit is just $89. The makers of this shelving unit claim they are not needed but that is untrue. It is impossible to connect the metal struts without them. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS SCAM.

These peices are absolutely vital to holding up the second level to an Edsal muscle shelf. Disappointed that I had to buy the price separately after purchasing the shelf off of Walmart’s website. This explained why the selves were on such a good sale... the item is unusable and unsafe if you were to follow the instructions advising to put together without the cpouts. Since the moment you were to put weight on the top shelves, the item would unhook and topple over. Over all disappointed with only the company and how they handed the situation not caring about selling an incomplete item and unwilling to ship necessary peices at no cost but the piece sold on amazon itself is great! Strong, vital, as expected.

We had two 3 foot racks that we need to combine to in order to load a freight trailer. We lost the original couplings and this solution was a lifesaver. Perfect fit for the Edsal racks.

Perfect match/replacement for the shelving unit I bought (Edsal TRK-602478W5 Heavy Duty Steel Shelving In Black 60x24x78 inches). Style seems to change a bit with each order (the outside-mounted clips are better than the older inside-mounted clips, the finish on these outside clips is different from the most recent shelving unit purchase, but fits fine).If you need replacement clips, or want to take shelves out of other units to built an extra set, these should work fine!
