As a second grade teacher, I LOVE this item! Finger counting is such a great tool for little ones but it can be difficult for some to begin learning as they have to use one hand to point to the other which gets messy when you use numbers higher than 5. Using this as a way to bridge that gap during learning is an excellent way to teach a new skill! The Velcro is wonderful because it can hold tightly if you push down hard or very loosely if you only press it down lightly- meaning it’ll be easy to take off. The tiles are cute and colorful and the wood itself seems solid and well made. I also love the back side for younger ones that need extra fine motor practice. I wish I had this earlier in my classroom and will be getting another one to keep at home for when my daughter gets older!

I got this mainly to introduce early math concepts to my 2-year-old, and I like that it also includes a writing practice board for numbers. My 5-year-old will be able to use this for simple addition and subtraction, so I love that it works for multiple ages.I really like that there are two hands with five fingers each, and they have Velcro, so you can put each finger down for a visual effect of a hand. This makes counting, subtraction, and addition easier for kids. The visual of a real hand really helps! It’s well made, colorful, and looks like a fun, hands-on way to develop number skills. I haven’t used it yet, but I have high hopes that it will be a great math learning tool!

Received this product today. I was SUPER excited about using it with the deaf child I teach at school because numbers for deaf are hard to find...it arrived in a box as expected ONLY IT WASN'T SEALED SHUT....SO one of the legs are missing to hold up the board. I will keep it as time is of the essence in working with this student as the class has already begun teaching numbers but I was very disappointed. I mean who sends ANYTHING in the mail without sealing it shut first????

Fun way to learn counting. Small and easy to transport. Well made for toddler. Makes a decent gift. The number squares are a little on the smaller side if your kid likes to put things in their mouth.

This is a really cute counting math game. There is a right and left hand with Velcro to aid with counting. It also comes with practice math problem cards that can be placed on a tiny shelf in front t of the hands. The hands can be rotated so that the fingers are not blocking the shelf. The toy also comes with mini squares with numbers and math symbols that can be used to make your own math problems. This toy really reminds me of something you would find in a Montessori school. I think the appropriate age is preschool to kindergarten.

Got this for my almost 4 year old who enjoys doing simple math right now. The felt on the hands are nice and thick, the wooden numbers are pretty good quality, and the little cards that come with it are perfect for leaving her to try on her own. The velcro is very secure, almost too secure and can be difficult to pull up from the hand, but may release a little with time.

Got this for my preschooler to help learn basic math and recognize numbers. I like that there are multiple functions to it. Definitely recommend.

This is a nice visual tool to help little ones learn to add and subtract. My son is learning addition right now and we bring this out for him to practice. It's also a fun way so he doesn't feel like it's homework. The back side with the numbers is not that useful for us since he already knows how to write his numbers well. I'll mostly use the hand side.
