A bit smaller than I thought it was. Having the dimensions in the description would be helpful.With that being said, it is well made and does an excellent job. The grip is comfortable and keeps you in firm control of the tool even when your hands are wet. Would buy another one if I ever tear this one up.

I used the handheld hoe to move Landscaping stone away from palm trees in order to fertilize them. It worked perfectly! Very solid tool and easy to use. A great value for the money.

I use it to clean animal cages for our pets. It works well for that task and I have no issues leaving it outside neat their cages.The hoe end is small enough that if you use this in soil, it will be manageable. Overall it is a good product. Not sure if it's high carbon steel.

I had trouble finding a hand held hoe in the stores, but found one on Amazon. It is very good...was light to carry but very sturdy digging in my garden. Very happy with my purchase and at a great price too!

This seems like a good tool for the money. Here’s the drawback. It came dull and therefore didn’t cut the weeds very well. I sharpened it with a grinding wheel and now it works well. If you don’t have a way to sharpen it, I suggest you look elsewhere.

~~ Read this ~~I got this not for the use of gardening. For gardening it is too dull for that desired used.What I got this for was to be able to reach to the back of my Red Tail Boa's enclosure (60"x36"x30") so I could clean it when she does her business. With all the reviews saying this thing was DULL I knew I should probably be something that I can use. YEP this thing is duller than a butter knife but for me it is PERFECT for the use I have for it. It will not scratch my snakes enclosure yet it is ridged and long enough to get to where I need to reach - and that is precisely what I needed.So for gardening this thing is probably useless but for cleaning out large snake or other large pet enclosures it is the right tool for the right job.
