This is a good dead-blow hammer, only reason for 4 stars is that personally I don’t like the fact that the sand/ shot inside the head is loose(it has a good deal of empty space left for it to move around). I like it to be full so it doesn’t move around when in use and so the swing weight is more even. I use these for assembling dovetailed drawer boxes, because they are non marring. It worked fine.
