The inductor coils in this set have two wire leads that come out of the bottom of each device. So they mount vertically. This is great for the projects I work on.The packaging is nice. 8 parts for each of the 20 values are packed in hinged snap top plastic box-sections. This is a great way to package these devices and is HIGHLY NECESSARY....Usually a 1mH choke is marked 102k for first number in value - 1, then a zero, and 2 more zeroes; times 1uH to wind up 1000x that base value, or 1/1000 of a Henry (1mH).But these have NO MARKINGS on the individual parts. Accidentally dump them out and get them mixed up and you'd better have a way of measuring them to undo the mix up. Before these, I bought some 1mH similar form factor chokes. They were clearly marked 102k, as above indicated. I'm going to make darn sure I don't spill these!!!So one star comes off of the rating for this non-functional, but important deficiency. I just hope the right parts from the factory made it into the correct box sections for all 20 values. So far, so good.Next time I will probably buy axial leaded inductors that have color bands like old fashioned resistors did.

This company has great products. But Amazon shipped the product in just the original box which is NOT good enough for shipping. They refuse to allow me to return it without me taking it myself to some other location. I don't own a printer. I am in agony with my bad hip and can barely walk. All of the inductors are randomly mixed together. The box was open at both ends. I have spent thousands of dollars this year. I have lost around $150 for returns that I just can't physically return. Enough is enough, they want $7.99 to come to my door to fix their error. I'll just swallow the loss and buy another bigger 4k monitor, LCR meter and other such items elsewhere. EEEEE has good stuff. Do buy their stuff, but look for a different distributor.
