Awesome! I use these for small white board weekly calendar. You can easily cut length if too long.

It would be great if they also sole an iron or other magnetic plate that one could attach to fabric surfaces otherwise there is no way to attach this to a non magnetic surface other than using double sided tape which does not allow you to easily move labels around. Suggest selling a slightly larger plate (like Neat Method sells) that one can attach to magazine folder and baskets and then attach the label holder.

Much more professional look to the job. First tried duct tape on shelving with hand written description of items. Purchased label holders and once again did hand written description. Was OK, but then discovered that my P-TOUCH label maker could make 3/4" wide labels. Then purchased the 6 pack of Labelife 18mm replacement tapes to complete the job. Although the blank labels that came with it were fine, I went to the stationary store and bought some heavier weight paper in a crisper white for esthetic purposes. Then with my newly acquired Fiskars trimmer I was able to cut new labels (5.5" x 1 7/8") to fit the holder. Only complaint is that in a vertical configuration, labels have a tendency to slide out. A small amount of tape at bottom resolved the issue.

It might be my expectations, but I was expecting a flat, non-bendable magnet. Maybe I wanted magnetic steel? Dunno, I think this is my expectations versus the product itself for the most part. It's magnetic, but it falls off of my wired rubbermaid shelves. My heavy duty, solid metal shelves in the basement hold the magnets just fine. It needs a solid metal surface, anything coated seems to struggle. The Paper doesn't slide it, you kinda need to arch it and slip it in, top to bottom. You could slide an index card or card stock, but I wanted to use regular paper so maybe keep that in mind. For the price, if i replace these i'd get some solid metal ones and attach magnets to the steel tags.

These are strong magnets and stick well. The plastic covers on the front come out easily and some have gotten lost already. If you plan on keeping these magnets in one place this may not be an issue. I use these with my students and wish it wasn’t so easy to take apart.
